Population

What’s the population of the country?  Compare this to the population of the US. 

The population of Costa Rica is 4,755,234. The United States on the other hand has a population of a whopping 318,892,103. The US has approximately 67 times the population of Costa Rica.


Where do the people live in this country?  Rural areas?  Urban areas?  What are the populations in the two cities you used for Question 2 b)?

Most people in Costa Rica live in urban areas which primarily is around it's capital city San Jose. San Jose has a population of 350,535. Manuel Antonio has a much smaller population as its population has around 7000 permanent residents.

Agriculture

What types of agriculture do they have and what type of diet do they have?

Costa Rica's agriculture plays a big part in it's gross domestic product. It makes around 6.5% of it's GDP. It's main exports include bananas, pineapples, coffee, sugar, potatoes, etc... It's exports primarily differ from region to region because of location and altitude.

Industry and Tourism
Are industry and tourism related to geography and climate?

Yes, industry and tourism is related to Costa Rica's geography and climate. Tourists love Costa Rica's tropical climate and flock there during it's dry season (December-April).
